HOW WE SUPPORT THEM

The programme conducts bridge classes with the children of migrant workers in communities who have dropped out of school.

Drop-out rates in Indian schools remain high, and the problem was exacerbated by the uncertainty resulting from the COVID-19 pandemic. To counteract this, ACG Cares Foundation is working on a pilot programme to reconnect more children with formal education in underserved communities through a mobile school.

This “school on wheels” aims to reach five communities in Pithampur Dhar (Madhya Pradesh) through tailored lessons taught by educational professionals, and a van full of inspiring learning materials. Our ultimate goal is to help reinvigorate a love of learning and assist children to re-enrol in school, to improve the outlook for children whose opportunities are limited by social and economic demographics.
