HOW WE SUPPORT THEM

The combination of science, technology, engineering and maths (STEM) learning can lead to huge opportunities in employment.

These four fields share an emphasis on innovation, problem solving and critical thinking, and together, they make up a fast-growing industry.  Sadly, the opportunity to study STEM in practical and imaginative ways is absent from much of the mainstream curriculum today. This has become even more apparent since the COVID-19 pandemic, and especially so in disadvantaged communities where opportunity is less.

For that reason, ACG Cares Foundation is supporting the Mini Science Centre to give more children in the Shirwal, Talegaon, Dahanu and Pithampur region the chance to develop an aptitude for science through practical exploration. Science-based activities are used to stimulate curiosity, provide practical opportunities to explore a concept in easy ways and develop hands-on experience that create a foundation for tomorrow’s jobs.
