Green Village Model

Under the Green Village Model, we adopted the entire village of Deoghar, Maharashtra and sensitized the local population on environmental issues like cleanliness, waste management and sanitation. With this approach we constructed a toilet block for girls and boys, constructed waste water management system for those toilets and planted indigenous trees on the treated water. We also initiated household level composting in the village and conducted awareness sessions with different stakeholders.
