Skill Development Centres

The objective of our skill development centres is to provide youth and women from marginalized communities with training opportunities in industry relevant skills to secure a better livelihood.

With support from local partners, under the campaign, ‘Kushal Bharat Abhiyan’, we have set-up 3 skill development centres in Shirwal, Talegaon and Kandivali.

These centres impart vocational trainings to youth into vocations like Photography, Beauty Services, Retail Sales, Dairy &Poultry, Solar Equipment and Panel Repair, Nursing Assistant, and Entrepreneurship Training. Apart from this the centres also provide inputs in personality development, soft skills, analytical abilities, forward and backward linkages to market and banks etc.

So far more than 500 youth have been trained and over 100 have secured jobs and started successful businesses.
